ABOUT

Hello. I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Newport Beach, California.

I believe the seed was planted early in my life to become a therapist. I have had a deep interest in the uniqueness of each individual and a curiosity for how our intricate inner life works. These traits have assisted me well and have informed the work that I do to help others become curious and reflect on their journey and desire to grow, overcome challenges, and live more fulfilling lives.

My passion for the human spirit led me to obtain a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Chapman University in 1993 and my Bachelors in Social Ecology at University of California, Irvine with honors. I went on to complete a Certificate in Dynamic Psychotherapy from the Newport Psychoanalytic Institute in 2004.

Prior to obtaining my degrees in Psychology, I gained experience in both the Corporate world and the Performing Arts and have a deep understanding of these environments and their demands. I have been in private counseling practice in Orange County, California since 1999.

Before entering private practice, I counseled clients at CPC Psychiatric Hospital, Human Options, South Coast Counseling Center, and Private Practice with Dr. Mark King.
